Mural road 'Pride of a strip of country'

TPO - Responding to the campaign "Proud of a strip of land and rivers", hundreds of youth union members of Thanh Chuong district ( Nghe An ) carried out the project "Mural Road" in Thanh Giang commune with 18 paintings depicting famous landscapes and landscapes across the country.

In recent days, the youth of Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An) have been busy implementing the youth project "The Mural Road". The project is part of a series of activities responding to Youth Month and the campaign "Proud of a strip of land and rivers".

The "Mural Road" is being built along the fence of Thanh Giang Secondary School on Highway 46C. All 18 walls, over 40m long, will be designed and painted by youth union members depicting famous landscapes across the country.

Before painting the wall, the youth union members gathered to clear the grass and clean the road and the fence.

Mr. Le Van Dung - Deputy Secretary of Thanh Chuong District Youth Union said that nearly 100 youth union members were mobilized to carry out the project "The Mural Road". The themes chosen to paint on the walls are famous landscapes and homeland landscapes across the country. To make the paintings beautiful and soulful to promote the country's famous landscapes, the unit had to hire some more main workers to work with the union members to paint the paintings.

It is known that in the first 2 weeks of implementing Youth Month, Thanh Chuong youth have implemented many meaningful projects and tasks. Youth Union chapters from district to grassroots have implemented many activities such as: Mobilizing more than 300 cadres and youth union members to participate in activities at the Youth Month launching ceremony at the Central Youth Union at Truong Bon historical site with many activities such as: planting trees; Organizing booths to display, introduce and play traditional games of ethnic minorities; Participating in the painting contest "Proud of a strip of country" with the theme "Following the course of history" and winning second prize in the province; Participating in the program to propagate legal knowledge on traffic safety, training in safe driving.
