The Gau Tao Festival of the Mong people in Yen Bai is a national intangible cultural heritage.

(CLO) The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) has officially included the Gau Tao Festival of the Mong people in Tram Tau, Mu Cang Chai and Van Chan districts of Yen Bai province in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage in the category of traditional festivals. This is a remarkable event, bringing great pride to the Mong community as well as the entire people of Yen Bai province.
