To celebrate the 79th National Day on September 2, the streets and alleys in the center of Ho Chi Minh City are brightly decorated with flags, banners, and historical images.

Ho Chi Minh City is brilliant at night during the National Day holiday of September 2. On this occasion, the city will organize an art program to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024), the 79th anniversary of the Saigon Uprising to seize power (August 25, 1945 - August 25, 2024) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 2 at the Nguyen Hue pedestrian area (intersection with Ngo Duc Ke Street), Ben Nghe Ward, District 1.
