Railway unexpectedly reduces ticket prices for Da Lat tourist train

Saigon Railway Transport Branch said that from now until August 13, the railway will apply discounted fares for early trains traveling to Da Lat.

Accordingly, passengers can buy tickets for train DL1 departing from Da Lat station at 7:50 a.m. and train DL2 departing from Trai Mat at 8:50 a.m. for only 50,000 VND/passenger/trip.

Passengers taking the early Da Lat - Trai Mat tourist train will receive a discount and the same class of ticket.

Currently, on the Da Lat - Trai Mat route, in addition to the DL3/DL4 train pair, the railway runs 4 more pairs of trains from Da Lat to Trai Mat and vice versa every day depending on the needs of passengers. Visitors coming to Da Lat station on any day of the week can experience the ancient train on the journey of 5 pairs of trains.

Specifically, from Da Lat station, train DL1 departs at 7:50 a.m. and arrives at 8:20 a.m.; train DL3 departs from Da Lat station at 9:55 a.m. and arrives at Trai Mat at 10:25 a.m.; train DL5 departs at 12:00 p.m. and arrives at 12:30 p.m.; train DL7 departs at 2:05 p.m. and arrives at 2:35 p.m.; train DL9 departs at 4:10 p.m. and arrives at 4:40 p.m.

From Trai Mat, train DL2 departs at 8:50 and arrives at 9:20; train DL4 departs at Trai Mat at 10:55 and arrives at Da Lat station at 11:25; train DL6 departs at 1:00 p.m. and arrives at 1:30 p.m.; train DL8 departs at 3:05 p.m. and arrives at 3:35 p.m.; train DL10 departs at 5:10 p.m. and arrives at 5:40 p.m.

Saigon Railway Transport Branch also said that the railway applies a discount policy when buying round-trip tickets and group tickets. Group ticket prices are discounted depending on the number of passengers in the group.

Specifically, individual ticket prices have 4 levels according to seat type, respectively: 72,000 - 84,000 - 90,000 - 100,000 VND/person/trip, passengers when buying round trip tickets only have the price of 108,000 - 126,000 - 136,000 - 150,000 VND/person/ticket.

Group tickets, groups of 15-29 people, ticket prices are: 61,000 - 72,000 - 77,000 - 85,000 VND/person/trip, groups of 30 people or more, ticket prices are 58,000 - 67,000 - 72,000 - 80,000 VND/person/trip. When buying round-trip tickets, you will get a deeper discount, groups of 10-39 people, ticket prices are 102,000 - 118,000 - 126,000 - 140,000 VND/person/ticket; groups of 40 people or more, ticket prices are 88,000 - 102,000 - 108,000 - 120,000 VND/person/ticket.

In addition, depending on passenger demand, the railway will organize additional trains with other preferential policies.
