EVN ensures stable electricity for National High School Exam

(Chinhphu.vn) - Vietnam Electricity Group said that EVN has deployed many synchronous solutions to ensure stable and continuous power supply for the High School Graduation Exam and university and vocational education enrollment in 2025.

Electricity industry on duty 24/7 to serve high school graduation exam

According to the direction of the Prime Minister in Directive No. 37/CT-TTg dated October 7, 2024 and Official Dispatch No. 1239/BGDĐT-QLCL dated March 24, 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training , the 2025 high school graduation exam will take place from June 25 to June 28, 2025 in all provinces and centrally run cities. To ensure continuous and stable power supply, serving the exam well, EVN has been urgently implementing many synchronous and active solutions.

The Electricity Corporations, Power Generation Corporations, National Power Transmission Corporation, Power Generation Companies under the Group and the Electricity Information Center have been requested to develop and implement plans to ensure electricity supply during the exam period. The top priority is to ensure electricity at the exam locations of the Ministry ofEducation and Training, the locations where exam papers are printed and copied, the exam organization and grading locations in the provinces and cities.

EVN particularly emphasizes not to suspend or reduce power supply as planned at these important locations from 0:00 on June 25, 2025 to 24:00 on June 28, 2025, except in case of incident handling. In addition, power units must ensure 24/24 hour power at locations where exam papers are printed and copied.

In addition, the Power Corporations have directed the Power Companies to proactively work and coordinate with the Steering Committee and local Examination Councils to grasp the list, location and demand for electricity use, ensuring stable power supply. At the same time, arrange reasonable methods of operating power sources and grids, ensuring safety and reliability under normal conditions and flexible switching in case of incidents.

To promptly respond to unexpected situations, EVN also requires the organization to handle incidents and repair electricity 24/7 during the exam period at the Electricity Companies/Electricity Companies with exam locations, working locations of the Steering Committee, and Examination Councils. Personnel, materials, equipment, means of transport and backup generators have been fully prepared to promptly handle incidents, change operating methods or run backup generators, and quickly restore power to exam locations when incidents occur.

EVN also requires units to report daily on the power supply situation for the High School Graduation Exam so that the Group can promptly grasp and manage the work.

With careful preparation and a high sense of responsibility, EVN pledges to make every effort to ensure continuous and stable power supply, contributing to the overall success of the High School Graduation Exam and University and Vocational Education Admissions in 2025.
