FIFA representative highly appreciated the cooperation and efforts of VFF.
The course was held from November 27 to November 30, aiming to foster and update professional knowledge for the referee supervision team, and at the same time train new candidates to serve the organization and management of national football tournaments.
Attending the closing ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Deputy General Secretary of VFF; Mr. Dang Thanh Ha - Head of VFF Referee Board, Deputy Head of the course Organizing Committee; and members of the Referee Board. On the FIFA side and the course, there was the direct participation and support of Mr. Mohamad Rodzali Bin Yacob - Officer in charge of FIFA Referee Development Office in Asia and Mr. Farkhad Abdullaev - FIFA Referee Instructor.

During the 4 working days, the trainees had access to a FIFA-standard training program with the following contents: updating the 2025-2026 competition rules, analyzing practical situations, match monitoring and management processes, and methods of applying technology to support referees, especially in the context of VAR playing an increasingly important role in modern operations.
At the opening ceremony, on behalf of the lecturers, Mr. Mohamad Rodzali Bin Yacob - the officer in charge of the FIFA Referee Development Office in Asia thanked the VFF, the Referee Board and the Referee Management Department, as well as individuals and members who have contributed to the development of the movement, especially in training and nurturing to improve the qualifications of the referee team in Vietnam.

Mr. Mohamad Rodzali Bin Yacob emphasized that the success of the course not only came from the efforts of VFF in organizing but also from the active participation of referee supervisors throughout the learning process. According to him, the goal of the course is not only to develop personal capacity, but also to expect referee supervisors to continue to participate in training and provide professional advice to contribute to improving the quality of refereeing in Vietnam.
"I really hope and wish that the referee supervisors will play an important role in training generations of high-class referees, reaching the level of Asia and the world . Once again, I would like to thank VFF for organizing this course as well as giving us a warm welcome and sincere affection. VFF emphasizes the key role of refereeing
On behalf of VFF, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Deputy General Secretary of VFF - thanked the lecturers for spending their precious time, valuable experiences and enthusiasm to impart to the referee supervision team of Vietnamese football. Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha affirmed that refereeing always holds a key position in the development of Vietnamese football. Regularly organizing training courses, standardizing and improving referee supervision capacity will contribute significantly to improving the quality of tournament management, meeting professional requirements and international integration.

VFF expressed its gratitude to FIFA, international lecturers, the Referee Board and all students for their effective cooperation, contributing to the success of the course. The knowledge and experience acquired are expected to be applied by students in practice, contributing to improving the quality of the referee supervision team in the future.
