He assessed that the training trip in Japan brought many important experiences for the young players. The Brazilian coach highly appreciated the quality of the current squad with many players who played in the U.17 Asian Cup finals last year. However, he said that the density of 5 matches in 10 days is a big challenge, requiring recovery and rotation of the force to be deployed reasonably to maintain the best condition.

With careful preparation, coach Cristiano Roland and his team are expected to become the sixth Vietnamese team to participate in the continental finals next year, after the national women's team, national U.23 team, men's futsal team, national U.20 women's team and national U.17 women's team.
