Foden parked his car illegally, public opinion was outraged

Manchester City star Phil Foden attracted attention when he drove his new £400,000 Mercedes G-Wagon to a Sainsbury's supermarket in Cheshire.

Aside from the fact that the car is very cool, what is more noticeable is that it boldly occupies two parking spaces. It seems that this midfielder does not care much about the lane markings in the parking lot, leaving his luxury car blocking the two parking spaces. The car attracts the admiring glances of many fans, but the owner's parking skills clearly need to be improved.

A shopper who witnessed the scene commented: “Phil’s car is indeed stunning, but he deserves a red card for parking like this. Either he needs more practice, or he is afraid someone will scratch his car so he intentionally blocks two spots. If so, it would be better for him to just leave the car at home and admire it without starting the engine.”

Some people think that Foden is suffering from mental problems because he parked his car so carelessly. The 25-year-old star has had a bad season as Man City failed to win anything. At the moment, the possibility of Foden playing in the Premier League opener against Wolves on August 16 is still uncertain due to injury.

Meanwhile, others were more sympathetic, saying that Foden was not lacking in awareness but simply had poor skills. Foden only passed his driving test in December 2023, so he lacked driving experience.

Despite being considered an inexperienced driver, that hasn't stopped the England midfielder from amassing an impressive car collection, including a Mercedes S-Class, Mercedes-AMG GLE 53, Toyota Vellfire and the BYD Seal electric car.
