The VelociRaptor 500 has a capacity of up to 500 horsepower, accompanied by 745 torque, 95 horsepower and 162 Nm stronger than the original. To do this, Hennessey upgraded the 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine on the Ranger Raptor by adding a high-performance air intake, a larger intercooler and a new engine software control system (ECU). In addition, the car is also equipped with front and rear differential locks and a 2-speed transfer case.
In addition, the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 is still equipped with an active exhaust system, a 64mm diameter Fox "Live Valve" shock absorber system, and a driving mode change function: Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Sand, Mud/Ruts, Rock Crawl, Baja and Tow-Haul. Meanwhile, the active exhaust has Quiet, Normal, Sport and Off-Road (Baja) mode settings.
On the exterior, the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 is equipped with new front and rear bumpers, integrated with auxiliary LED lights. The Hennessey logo can be found in many locations. The side steps have also been changed to optimize the vehicle's performance. This pickup truck is equipped with a standard set of 18-inch Hennessey wheels, with 35-inch diameter off-road tires.
The interior of the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 features custom headrests with Hennessey logo, easy-to-clean all-weather floor mats and serial numbered plaques.
Currently, the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor has a starting price of 56,960 USD (about 1.33 billion VND) in the US. Meanwhile, the price of the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 upgrade package is up to 24,950 USD (about 585 million VND).
