FPT creates new standards for Internet experience in Vietnam

From April 2025, in order to enhance the Internet service experience and accompany the increasing digitalization needs of users, new customers registering for Internet services will immediately experience packages with a minimum bandwidth speed of 300Mbps. And existing FPT customers will also be upgraded from a minimum bandwidth of 150Mbps to 300Mbps.

FPT's bandwidth upgrade not only brings high-speed Internet experience, but also helps customers optimize all activities on digital platforms from studying, working, online entertainment to online business, especially when Internet traffic with essential needs on online platforms is increasing.

“Customers are always at the heart of all FPT development strategies and business activities. Upgrading bandwidth is our effort to understand and quickly meet the increasingly diverse needs of Vietnamese users,” said an FPT representative.

This is the 5th time FPT has upgraded bandwidth for customers since 2018. Previously, in 2022, FPT pioneered breaking the limit with an unlimited bandwidth Internet service of up to 1Gbps - the highest actual speed on the market, depending on the customer's terminal device.

With this policy, Vietnamese users are upgraded to unlimited Internet experience and increase Vietnam's Internet speed ranking on the international rankings (according to the Speedtest Report conducted by Ookla, Vietnam ranked 35th in the world in terms of fixed bandwidth Internet speed. Data recorded in February 2025, download speed was 164.77Mbps and upload speed was 144.98Mbps).

Not stopping at bandwidth, FPT also simultaneously deployed a series of upgrades to user experience. Internet service comes with a WiFi 6 standard modem device, providing connection speed 4 times faster than previous generations, reducing latency by up to 50% and expanding coverage by 23%, helping to make the connection more stable in large spaces, especially suitable for multi-storey apartments or multiple devices accessing at the same time.

The breakthrough point of FPT WiFi 6 in the market must be mentioned in terms of security. In addition to the advanced WPA3 encryption technology, FPT also integrates the exclusive F-Safe Go feature - which helps warn and prevent access to malicious websites, protecting users from the risk of information security loss. Thanks to that, the security of FPT WiFi 6 is doubled compared to previous generations of WiFi.
