On this occasion, Mr. Vu Quoc Huy, Director of the National Innovation Center (NIC) shared: “The forum is held at a turning point, when Vietnam is promoting the transformation of the growth model, taking science , technology, innovation and digital transformation as key pillars. These are not only development priorities, but also decisive factors to enhance competitiveness and ensure sustainable growth in the long term. Vietnam welcomes and is ready to cooperate closely with the world's leading technology corporations such as Meta, Nvidia, Marvell, Cadence, Dassault Systèmes, Siemens ... to develop an innovation ecosystem, especially in strategic technology fields such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing ...”.
Meanwhile, Meta representative Rafael Frankel, Director of Public Policy for Asia-Pacific expressed his pride in accompanying Vietnamese partners in promoting innovation and developing an open data ecosystem with the ViGen project - a Vietnamese open source dataset. This is a platform for Vietnam to develop advanced AI applications to serve the community. At the same time, Meta is also expanding its presence in Vietnam through manufacturing activities, demonstrating its long-term commitment to accompanying the development of technology and the digital economy in Vietnam.
On this occasion, Vietnamese Ambassador to Singapore Tran Phuoc Anh emphasized: "The forum is a bridge to promote strategic investment cooperation in high-tech fields, in line with Vietnam's orientation of sustainable development and deep integration in the global value chain."
Mr. Le Quang Dam, General Director of Marvell Vietnam, stated: “Vietnam is a dynamic investment environment with strong support from the Government, modern infrastructure and high-quality human resources. This is the competitive advantage that helps Vietnam become a leading destination for high-tech enterprises.”
Within the framework of the forum, delegates focused on four key objectives: promoting the investment environment and high-tech ecosystem in Vietnam; introducing the Government's priority policies in strategic areas such as semiconductors, AI, digital technology, smart manufacturing; connecting businesses-research institutes-international partners, promoting technology transfer; cooperating in training and developing semiconductor human resources, aiming to build a regional talent training center in Vietnam.
Specifically, at the discussion session "Unlocking Vietnam's High-Tech Potential", delegates from large enterprises such as Dassault Systèmes, Marvell, Siemens, Deep C, the Management Board of High-Tech Parks in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and localities with strengths such as Bac Giang shared many strategic perspectives to promote investment linkages and develop a sustainable technology ecosystem in Vietnam.
This event is not only an opportunity for Vietnam to introduce its potential for technological development, but also an opportunity to connect investment, transfer knowledge and expand international cooperation in the semiconductor industry - a field considered the "backbone" of the global digital economy.

Vietnam participates in the exhibition with the largest scale and for the first time has its own connection area.
Semiconductor Exhibition Southeast Asia 2025 (SEMICON SEA 2025) - the region's largest annual event in the semiconductor field, takes place from May 20 to 22 in Singapore.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the event, bringing together more than 500 companies, 1,300 booths and approximately 20,000 visitors from 65 countries and territories. SEMICON SEA is a globally influential specialized exhibition series, bringing together big names in the semiconductor and high-tech industry.
The Vietnamese delegation attending this year's exhibition is the largest ever, with the participation of many technology corporations and large enterprises, as well as leading universities and research institutes, along with representatives of a number of experts in the semiconductor field.
For the first time, the Vietnamese delegation had a dedicated Vietnam Connection Zone (Vietnam Lounge) at the exhibition, playing a role in promoting the national semiconductor industry ecosystem. Here, technologies, products, services, high-quality human resources, and the investment and business environment in Vietnam were introduced to the international community. This area became an important connection point with multinational corporations and international partners, contributing to promoting the development of Vietnam's semiconductor ecosystem and strengthening links with the global supply chain.
In addition, the Vietnamese delegation also worked and surveyed a number of businesses, factories, research centers and universities on semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and smart manufacturing in Singapore such as NTU, NUS, Meta, K&S, A*STAR, Google, Dassault Systèmes, Hexagon, Palomar, etc.
Through the series of events, Vietnam introduced its potential, policies and development capacity in the high-tech sector; affirmed its commitment to deeply integrate into the global semiconductor supply chain; and expanded international cooperation and attracted investment in strategic industries.
