The quarter-final match between the Vietnamese women's futsal team and Japan will take place at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow (May 13, Vietnam time). Currently, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team are actively practicing, perfecting their tactics, physical strength and mentality to aim for the best results.
Sharing about the Japanese opponent, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said: “After the last round of the group stage, we identified the opponent as the Japanese team - a team with high quality, fast playing style and very good technique. During the training trip to Japan before the tournament, we played a friendly match with them and understood to some extent the strength and strengths of this team.”
Immediately afterwards, the coaching staff held a meeting with the entire team to come up with a suitable tactical plan. According to coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang, the mainstay of the Vietnamese futsal team at this time is a stable physical foundation and high spirits.

“We have the physical advantage because Japan just went through a very tense match with Thailand. They may also be affected psychologically after the 1-3 defeat against Thailand. That is an opportunity for us to take advantage of,” Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hoang emphasized.
To get used to the official match schedule, the whole team had a practice session this afternoon (May 12), focusing on increasing speed, improving competition intensity and training mentality. The careful preparation both professionally and mentally shows the high determination of coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team in the upcoming key match.
In the quarterfinals, the Vietnamese women's futsal team will need to maximize their strengths in collective play, flexibility in movement and fiery fighting spirit to create a surprise against a "big" opponent in continental playgrounds.
