Nearly 160 universities announced the minimum admission score for 2025, the highest is 25 points

This year, the Academy of Finance accepts applications with scores of 19-20. Of these, 6/37 majors and programs have a minimum score of 20. These are programs oriented towards international certificates such as ACCA (accounting and auditing certificate), ICAEW (accounting certificate), CMA (management accounting certificate) and ICDL (information technology certificate).

The minimum score for the remaining majors is 19. Of these, the Business Law major requires candidates to score 6 points or higher in Mathematics. Two joint programs with the University of Toulon, France (Insurance - Banking - Finance and Accounting - Control - Auditing), require a minimum English level of B2 (level 4/6 according to Vietnam's 6-level framework).

The minimum score for Hanoi Law University based on the high school graduation exam results and high school transcripts for all majors is 18. For Law, Economic Law and International Trade Law, candidates need to achieve a total score of 12 or higher in Math and Literature in the D01 group. For other groups, the school requires a score of 6 or higher in Math or Literature. For International Trade Law and English Language, candidates need to achieve a score of 6 or higher in English.

Diplomatic Academy has a floor score of 22 for 12 combinations, including: D01, D03, D04, D06, DD2, A00, A01, D07, D09, D10, D14, D15. Only C00 has a floor score of 25.

The Diplomatic Academy notes that the minimum score is determined based on the total score of 3 subjects in any admission combination of the academy in the 2025 high school graduation exam. Candidates can use the international certificate conversion score according to the Academy's regulations to calculate the threshold to ensure input quality.

For candidates who graduated from high school before 2025 and registered for admission by combining academic records and international certificates, the floor score is applied according to the Academy's input quality assurance threshold in the year the candidate graduated.

For candidates using A-level certificates or IB Diploma, the minimum score is 24 points (determined based on the total admission score after conversion).

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates will have to register their admission wishes on the Ministry's general admission system. The virtual filtering software only records the highest wish for which the candidate is eligible to be admitted.

Candidates can register, adjust and add university admission wishes an unlimited number of times until 5:00 p.m. on July 28. After that, they can pay the admission fee online from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5.

University benchmark scores will be announced before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.
