This morning, tens of thousands of candidates taking the Hanoi National University of Education's competency assessment test (SPT) received their exam rooms, studied the regulations, and corrected any mistakes.
In the afternoon, candidates will take two exams: Literature and English. On May 18, candidates will take the remaining exams.
Nguyen Linh Phuong from Yen Bai said she was quite nervous about taking the exam. She plans to use the results to apply for admission to Hanoi National University of Education in Biology.

Hoang Yen Nhi, a candidate from Yen Bai, said that she and her sister arrived in Hanoi the day before. They rented a hotel near the school to rest. This was the only exam she participated in because she wanted to follow her family's tradition of becoming a teacher.
"I'm not very confident with the amount of knowledge I've reviewed. If I still don't pass, I'll continue to take the test again. In addition to the separate exam of the University of Education, I will take the high school graduation exam to get the results for admission," Nhi said.
Bui Tuyet Nhung from Tuyen Quang said that she only chose to take the Hanoi National University of Education's competency assessment exam and the high school graduation exam.
Nhung's older sister is studying geography at Hanoi National University of Education. This is one of the motivations that helps her try hard to get into this school.
"I want to major in biology education. I think I can do about 60-70% of math and biology, but I'm still a bit weak in chemistry. I don't have high expectations for this subject," Nhung said.
It is known that in addition to reviewing with teachers at school, Nhung found review courses online to practice.
