Tan Phu Dong District: 135 people participate in voluntary social insurance

People register to participate in voluntary health insurance.

Delegates listened to Director of Tien Giang Social Insurance Vo Khanh Binh present the purpose and significance of the Launching Ceremony to strengthen propaganda on coordination in organizing the implementation of Resolution 28-NQ/TW of the 7th Conference of the 12th Central Executive Committee on reforming social insurance policies, Resolution 20-NQ/TW on strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health in the new situation.

After the launching ceremony, Tan Phu Dong District Social Insurance and the District Post Office organized customer communication in Tan Hung and Tan Phu hamlets of Tan Thoi commune with over 100 people attending. The leaders of the District Social Insurance and the District Post Office informed them about the rights and benefits of participating in voluntary social insurance.

The content revolves around the additional benefits in the Social Insurance Law 2024 such as: From July 1, 2025, the number of years of social insurance contribution to receive pension will be reduced from 20 years to 15 years; voluntary social insurance participants will receive maternity benefits with a subsidy of 2 million VND for each child; voluntary social insurance participants will receive monthly subsidies and be granted health insurance cards when they reach retirement age...

On the launching day, in Tan Phu Dong district, there were a total of 135 people participating in voluntary social insurance, reaching 168% of the provincial social insurance assigned (80 people).
