During the National Day holiday on September 2, Ninh Binh continued to affirm its attractiveness to domestic and international tourists when welcoming nearly 400,000 visitors.
According to the Department of Tourism , during the 4-day holiday from August 31 to September 3, Ninh Binh is estimated to welcome 374,000 visitors, an increase of 67.9% compared to the 2023 holiday, of which international visitors are estimated to reach 74,000, an increase of 276.7% compared to the 2023 holiday, revenue is estimated to reach nearly 650 billion VND, an increase of 182.6% compared to the 2023 holiday. Room occupancy rate reached an average of 85-90%, with the evenings of August 31 and September 1 reaching 100%.
On this occasion, the tourism industry organized many tourism stimulus programs such as the Tam Coc Culinary Culture Festival, evening art performances at Hoa Lu Ancient Town, and the exploitation of the new tourist destination of the Golden Pagoda. In particular, the industry organized a thoughtful and safe reception for a group of 5,500 Indian tourists visiting the Trang An Eco-tourism Area.
In addition, to practically celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, localities in the province have also organized many exciting and attractive cultural, artistic and sports exchange programs such as the program "Gia Vien District Culture-Sports Festival", Kim Son District Traditional Sports Festival with many exciting and attractive folk activities and games.
The number of visitors has increased, but thanks to the synchronous and proactive implementation of solutions, security and order, tourism civilization have been ensured, and tourism images have been widely promoted on social platforms. At tourist areas and spots, there has been no jostling, pushing, or unsafety. Thereby, contributing to bringing visitors impressive experiences during the National Day holiday.
