Nearly 500 candidates skipped the 2025 Hanoi 10th grade exam procedures

According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training, this morning, June 6 - the registration session for the 10th grade entrance exam in 2025, the number of candidates present was 102,365/102,860 students registered for the exam (reaching a rate of 99.52%); 495 candidates were absent.

A total of 11 candidates needed assistance with the exam due to health problems and needed medical assistance.

The number of officers, teachers and staff present was 15,168/15,173, reaching a rate of 99.97%. The absent exam invigilators were assigned backup teachers to ensure compliance with regulations.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that the facilities at the examination sites are fully prepared according to regulations. All examination sites have coordinated with security forces and police to fully prepare plans to ensure safety and security in the examination site and the area outside the examination site gate.

The Department has also directed to strengthen security measures at examination sites (rooms, cabinets for storing exam papers, exam questions, security camera systems; personnel...), preservation of candidates' personal belongings, plans to ensure food hygiene and safety, coordination of traffic flow, etc.

The entrance exam for non-specialized public grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year will be held on June 7 and 8; the specialized exam will be held on June 9, 2025.

The whole city has 201 examination sites with 4,411 examination rooms; the number of reserve examination rooms is 201.

Tomorrow the candidates will take the first exam in Literature.
