The training course was attended by nearly 60 trainees who are commune farmers' association officials, branch heads, deputy branch heads and collaborators who are ethnic minorities in the communes of Van Chan, Gia Hoi, Son Luong, Chan Thinh, Thuong Bang La, and Nghia Tam.
This is an activity within the framework of the Project "Enhancing legal aid for the poor and vulnerable" funded by the World Bank from support from the Japan Social Development Fund.

At the training course, trainees were equipped with knowledge about: Law on Marriage and Family; Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence; information on violations of the Law on Marriage and Family in the locality; skills in propagating and mobilizing the implementation of the Law on Marriage and Family.
The training course also provides time for students to divide into discussion groups; share experiences in preventing domestic violence, early marriage, and incestuous marriage in ethnic minority areas...
After the training course, the trainees will apply the knowledge into practice to improve the effectiveness of propaganda, consultation, and legal aid for farmer members and the people; mobilize members to comply with the law, build happy families, protect the rights and legitimate interests of members, especially female members.
