Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Cuong, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 3 acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of coordination in disseminating military and defense tasks of central and local press agencies in the military region in 2023.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Cuong suggested that in 2024, news agencies and press continue to closely coordinate and widely propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, directives and resolutions at all levels on national defense and military tasks. Effectively implement the "three breakthroughs" according to the Resolution of the 11th Army Party Congress, the Resolution of the 9th Military Region Party Congress. These are breakthroughs in organization and staffing; training and education; building discipline, law enforcement and military administrative reform. Propagating the promotion of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in conjunction with implementing Resolution 4 of the Central Committee. Strongly propagate activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory; the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day; Emulation Congress for Victory at all levels in the Military Region's armed forces for the period 2019 - 2024. On behalf of the Party Committee and the Military Region 3 Command, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Cuong hopes that the military region's armed forces will continue to receive close, comprehensive, and effective attention and coordination from news agencies and the press, contributing to encouraging and motivating officers and soldiers of the military region's armed forces to overcome all difficulties and strive to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
In 2023, central, military and local press agencies in the military region had nearly 8,000 press works promoting the activities of the military region's armed forces. The results of press propaganda contributed significantly to improving the quality and effectiveness of military and defense work.
On this occasion, the Military Region 3 Command awarded certificates of merit to 9 collectives and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in coordinating propaganda on military and defense tasks in 2023, including the Hai Duong Newspaper collective.
