Nearly 9 million USD from exporting fresh agricultural products through Mong Cai international border gate

Due to the increasing demand from the Chinese market, along with the increasingly good quality of Vietnamese agricultural products, the export of fresh agricultural products from Vietnam to the Chinese market is increasingly vibrant. The main fruits exported through Mong Cai international border gate mainly include dragon fruit and jackfruit (products with stable consumption in China).

In order to support businesses, promote official exports through international border gates, improve the quality of goods, and meet increasingly stringent requirements from foreign partners, Mong Cai International Border Gate Customs has implemented many synchronous solutions to accompany businesses. Including administrative reform, speeding up customs clearance of goods, prioritizing perishable agricultural products such as fresh fruits. The unit's goal is to "prioritize processing and create green channels" for agricultural products, shorten customs clearance time, and minimize risks for businesses.

Along with that, Mong Cai International Border Gate Customs strengthens coordination with functional sectors and local authorities to remove obstacles, promote import and export activities, contribute to economic growth of Mong Cai city and enhance the position of Mong Cai border gate on the international trade map.

Therefore, in just the first 2 weeks of May 2025 (from May 1-15), Mong Cai International Border Gate Customs cleared 214 fresh fruit export declarations, with a turnover of nearly 9 million USD.
