Attending the program were comrade Ta Van Long - former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Yen Bai province (before the merger); leaders of departments, branches and sectors; and many real-life characters who are the prototypes in the author's works.
The work "They are Uncle Ho's soldiers" is a collection of over 300 pages of notes, a collection of 40 articles recording portraits of many generations of Uncle Ho's soldiers that writer Ha Lam Ky had the chance to meet. Each article is a story about the life, achievements, and memories of a soldier; sometimes told through the words of relatives, sometimes recreated from the author's own experiences and memories with his comrades.

The simple, rustic but emotional writing style vividly recreates a heroic period of history, while clearly depicting the will, bravery and noble qualities of the soldiers - most of whom are children of Yen Bai homeland.

At the meeting, veterans, their families and the original characters shared their life stories, their deep memories of wartime and their emotions when seeing their own images recreated on the pages of the book. These stories not only touched the hearts of the listeners, but also added pride and awareness to preserve historical values for today's young generation.

On this occasion, writer Ha Lam Ky presented the work "They are Uncle Ho's soldiers" to the Provincial Military Command, Division 355 (Military Region 2), Provincial Museum, Provincial Police, Provincial Library and Laotian students studying at Yen Bai College.
