At the meeting, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women through the ages, and at the same time acknowledged and honored the positive contributions of female trade union officials in leadership and management, as well as in the socio -economic development of the province.

In the context of the province implementing the two-tier local government model, the trade union organization system has undergone many fundamental changes. The restructuring of the organizational apparatus has significantly reduced the number of grassroots trade unions and union members directly managed by the Provincial Federation of Labor, especially in the administrative sector receiving salaries from the State budget.

Faced with that situation, the Provincial Federation of Labor's Standing Committee has proactively improved the organization and arranged the apparatus according to the new model, ensuring that union activities are not interrupted. Full-time union officials are assigned to directly take charge of affiliated grassroots unions, and the working regulations and work program for 2025 have also been adjusted accordingly, ensuring regular and continuous leadership.

Following the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Confederation of Labor Executive Committee has directed the grassroots trade unions to resolutely implement key tasks. Many grassroots trade unions have concretized the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term into annual work programs and plans. At the same time, they have performed well the role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; strictly implementing the collection of union dues and managing finances and assets in accordance with regulations.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Hoang Tho Trung - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized: The results achieved by the Trade Union in the past time have had the great and responsible contribution of the team of female trade union officials - who are always dedicated, enthusiastic and constantly creative in performing assigned tasks. He hopes that in the coming time, the team of female trade union leaders and full-time female trade union officials will continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, together with the collective unit to successfully complete assigned tasks.
