The atmosphere of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day is spreading everywhere, especially in coffee shops in Da Nang. Many locations have been decorated with national flags, party flags and bright red slogans, becoming destinations attracting many people and young people to check-in and share national pride.
During these days, people all over the country are looking forward to the big holiday. Therefore, tea shops or public places are solemnly decorated to become ideal places to preserve memories and express gratitude to the previous generations who sacrificed for national independence. Wearing a shirt with the word “Vietnam” or a hat decorated with the red flag with a yellow star has become a familiar choice for emotional photos.
A young person shared that he and his family wanted to preserve the moment on this important occasion, when the whole country comes together to remember and show gratitude. For him, it is not just a photo shoot, but the pride of living in peacetime, an achievement that was exchanged with the youth and blood of the previous generation. Many people also choose to wear Ao Dai or uniforms when visiting the decorative spots, not only to have a beautiful photo but also to express their love for their homeland and country on this important national holiday.
World coffee prices today
Coffee prices on the world market fell sharply on both exchanges:
Robusta Coffee (London):
Delivery in May 2025: Down 73 USD/ton, to 5,180 USD/ton.
Delivery in July 2025: Down 76 USD/ton, to 5,201 USD/ton.
Arabica Coffee (New York):
May 2025 delivery: Up 3.7 cents/lb, to 368.25 cents/lb.
July 2025 delivery: Up 3.3 cents/lb, to 361.75 cents/lb.
Arabica coffee prices edged up on Thursday, supported by a weaker dollar that hit a three-year low, pressured mainly by the prospect of increased supplies in Brazil, where weather conditions are favorable for the upcoming harvest.
The sell-off in the stock market also contributed to the heightened risk sentiment, negatively affecting commodities, including coffee. At the same time, ICE-monitored arabica coffee inventories rose to a five-week high of 801,549 bags. Robusta stocks also rose to 4,272 lots, the highest in a week.
The global coffee industry remains volatile. Analysts believe that the tension between supply and demand will persist, while speculative factors in the futures market continue to exert influence. This uncertainty is expected to last until at least the second half of 2025.
