Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of May 26, 2025

According to experts, domestic and international coffee prices fell sharply last week due to increased global supply, especially from Brazil and Vietnam, along with positive weather in Vietnam.

However, Vietnam's coffee output in the 2024-2025 crop year is forecast to decrease by 5-15% due to the impact of El Nino, which could support prices in the long term.

In the short term, prices may continue to be under pressure if there are no sudden changes in supply. Growers should closely monitor weather and price developments to decide when to sell.

According to traders, domestic coffee prices in Vietnam may continue to decline in the coming time, due to sluggish trading activities and increased supply from Robusta producing countries such as Brazil and Indonesia. In addition, although there is not much inventory left among the people, many farmers are still “hoarding” their goods, waiting for prices to rise before selling.

Vietnam’s coffee exports are recording positive results in the first half of May 2025, with nearly 63,000 tons of robusta coffee exported, bringing in about 345 million USD. Compared to the same period last year, output increased by 83% and value increased by 155%, showing strong demand and high selling prices.

Notably, foreign-invested enterprises are increasing their influence, currently accounting for nearly 40% of the green coffee export market share, a sharp increase compared to 30% in previous years. Meanwhile, global supply is expected to increase as Brazil and Indonesia enter their main harvest season.

However, domestic traders believe that the amount of coffee available for export is still limited, reflecting the sensitive supply-demand situation and potential price fluctuations in the coming time.
