The price of live pigs in the North this morning (November 17) remained unchanged, continuing to maintain the same price as the previous day.
Specifically, pork prices in Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Hanoi , Ninh Binh, Dien Bien, Son La and Hung Yen are all trading at 48,000 VND/kg.
Lao Cai and Lai Chau localities are still purchasing at 47,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the region.
Meanwhile, Bac Ninh and Hai Phong continue to maintain the highest level in the region at 49,000 VND/kg.
Thus, the live pig market in the North today fluctuates around 47,000 VND/kg to 49,000 VND/kg.
Pig price today in the Central Highlands: Stable
In the Central Highlands region, the price of live pigs today has not changed in any locality.
Specifically, the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai and Dak Lak remained stable at 47,000 VND/kg.
Pig prices in Ha Tinh and Gia Lai are both trading at 46,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the region.
Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong recorded prices of 48,000 VND/kg and 49,000 VND/kg, respectively.
Currently, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands fluctuates between 46,000 VND/kg - 49,000 VND/kg.
Pig price today in the South: No fluctuations
In the South, the price of live pigs today also recorded a trend of remaining unchanged in all localities.
Accordingly, Dong Nai and Ca Mau still maintain the level of 50,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region and the country.
Localities such as Tay Ninh, An Giang, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho City all maintained around 49,000 VND/kg.
Dong Thap traded at 48,000 VND/kg. Vinh Long purchased at 47,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the Southern region.
Thus, the price of live pigs in the South is currently in the range of 47,000 VND/kg - 50,000 VND/kg.
