Pig price today May 8: Continues to cool down in the southern region...

The Northern live hog market continued to be quiet on the morning of May 8. Accordingly, this area is currently buying and selling live hogs at prices ranging from 66,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.

Of which, Hanoi and the provinces of Bac Giang, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Nam Dinh and Vinh Phuc recorded a price of 67,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region.

In the Central Highlands region, live hog prices have decreased in some localities. Specifically, Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan both have prices of 72,000 VND/kg, while Binh Thuan has prices of 73,000 VND/kg.

Currently, traders in localities in the region are purchasing live pigs at quite high prices, fluctuating between 67,000 - 73,000 VND/kg.

Still maintaining a downward trend over the past few days, the southern pig market today witnessed adjustments in Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Binh Phuoc , Dong Nai, Hau Giang, Kien Giang and Soc Trang.

According to the latest survey, live pigs in this area are being sold at 73,000 - 74,000 VND/kg. Of which, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Ben Tre, Tien Giang and Bac Lieu are the localities that still maintain transactions at 74,000 VND/kg, the highest in the country.
