Gia Lai appoints new director of Department of Health

On March 15, Mr. Truong Hai Long, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, presented the decision to appoint Mr. Ly Minh Thai, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Health, to hold the position of Director of the Department of Health.

Speaking on accepting his new assignment, Mr. Ly Minh Thai said he would do his best to fulfill the work entrusted to him by his superiors, to manage the industry's operations to develop further, and to fulfill the task of caring for and protecting people's health.

Mr. Ly Minh Thai (50 years old) has the following qualifications: Specialist II; Senior Political Theory. Mr. Thai has worked in the health sector of Gia Lai province since 1998; in July 2012, he was appointed Deputy Director of Chu Pah District Medical Center.

In November 2012, Mr. Thai was appointed as the director of Chu Pah District Medical Center and from August 2016, he was the director of Gia Lai Provincial Children's Hospital. From August 2021, Mr. Thai became the deputy director of the Provincial Department of Health.
