This project is part of the National Outpatient Emergency Care Project for the period 2025-2030, chaired by the Ministry of Health and funded by Vingroup with 1,000 billion VND, aiming to build a modern outpatient emergency care network. The event contributes to improving national healthcare capacity and preparing for major international events such as APEC 2027.
At the launch ceremony, Vingroup Corporation handed over 8 ambulances and modern medical equipment to the facility. Each ambulance is equipped with a ventilator, integrated defibrillator, monitor, portable ultrasound machine, endotracheal intubation kit with camera, trauma splint, resuscitation harness, etc.
The vehicle system is designed to be compact, waterproof, dustproof, and vibration-resistant, suitable for the specific terrain and climate conditions of coastal and island areas.

The facility has over 40 doctors, nurses, technicians, and ambulance drivers who have received advanced training according to international standards, including: cardiopulmonary resuscitation, multiple trauma management, maritime emergency care, and advanced resuscitation transport…
The basic goal is to reach the scene within just 8 minutes of receiving a request. The 115 hotline will be officially activated and put into operation in Phu Quoc starting October 10th. After receiving a request, dispatchers will proactively send the nearest ambulance from 3 satellite stations in key areas of Duong Dong, An Thoi, and Ganh Dau to quickly reach the scene and provide timely treatment within the "golden hour" to increase the chances of survival for the patient.

Reportedly, Phu Quoc is one of the first six localities (including Phu Quoc, Khanh Hoa, Da Nang, Ha Tinh, Bac Ninh , and Hai Phong) nationwide to pilot the pre-hospital emergency medical care model.
