On September 30, Quy Nhon University held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Education and Training to recognize Associate Professor Dr. Doan Duc Tung as the school's principal for the 2025-2030 term.

At the announcement ceremony, the representative of the Ministry of Education and Training presented the decision and assigned the task to Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung, Rector of Quy Nhon University for the 2025 - 2030 term.

It is known that Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung has assumed the position of Rector of Quy Nhon University for the 2020 - 2025 term from July 1, 2024.

During the leadership of Associate Professor Dr. Doan Duc Tung, Quy Nhon University has implemented many important policies and development orientations in many fields. Activities in training, scientific research and community service have inherited and promoted strengths, creating positive changes in quality and operational efficiency.

Associate Professor Dr. Doan Duc Tung, 50 years old, graduated with a bachelor's, master's and doctorate in electrical engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and was awarded the title of associate professor in electrical engineering in early 2020.

Before taking office as Rector of Quy Nhon University, Associate Professor Dr. Doan Duc Tung held the positions of Deputy Dean, Dean and Vice Rector of this university.
