Market information: Durian exports exceed record
According to a report from the Center for Agricultural and Environmental Information and Services, by the end of October 2025, Vietnam's durian export turnover officially surpassed the 3.2 billion USD mark, an increase of 12.3% over the same period last year and surpassing the record of the whole year 2024.
Despite a slowdown due to inspection regulations from the Chinese market, export turnover has recovered strongly since July. The third quarter alone reached 1.94 billion USD, an increase of 30.3%. This success comes from businesses promoting the application of high technology, transparent traceability, and compliance with international growing area codes and packaging facilities.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has issued strong instructions to remove difficulties for businesses, closely coordinating with the Chinese side to resolve technical problems, ensuring that no shipments are interrupted. Relevant units are continuing to strengthen technical exchanges and guide localities to control quality, maintaining stable export activities until the end of the season.
