Thai durian prices maintain upward trend

Thai durian prices continued to increase slightly in some areas thanks to stable demand while supply was not too abundant. The highest price was recorded in the Mekong Delta, reaching 120,000 VND/kg for grade A goods.

• Chuong Bo durian: Type A costs 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg, type B from 45,000 - 54,000 VND/kg.
• Sau Huu durian: Type A is purchased at 72,000 - 75,000 VND/kg, type B from 52,000 - 55,000 VND/kg, and type C around 40,000 VND/kg.

Market forecast

The durian market is in a period of adjustment due to increased supply from late-harvesting regions. Experts predict that prices may continue to fluctuate in the short term, especially when demand from export enterprises may increase slightly before the year-end order closing time.
