Durian price today December 1, 2025: Exports increase sharply

Durian prices today, December 1, 2025, are stable nationwide. RI6 and Thai durian continue to maintain good prices while fruit and vegetable export turnover increased sharply thanks to durian.

Domestic durian prices are stable, major growing areas maintain purchase levels

Durian prices today, December 1, generally remain stable at most purchasing points across the country.

Southwestern region:

Beautiful RI6 durian: 60,000 - 65,000 VND/kg.

Good quality Thai durian: Still traded around 85,000 - 90,000 VND/kg.

Southeast region:

Beautiful RI6 durian: Commonly 55,000 - 60,000 VND/kg.

Good quality Thai durian: Anchored in the durian price range of 75,000 - 85,000 VND/kg.

Durian purchased in bulk in these two areas also remained stable, with RI6 in bulk fluctuating between 25,000 - 30,000 VND/kg.

In the Central Highlands, durian purchase prices are somewhat lower than in the West and East.

Beautiful RI6 durian: Traders buy durian at 52,000 - 54,000 VND/kg.

Beautiful Thai durian: Keep durian price at 72,000 - 74,000 VND/kg.

Similar to other regions, Thai durian purchased in bulk in the Central Highlands is also stable, maintained around 32,000 - 35,000 VND/kg.

Fruit and vegetable exports increase sharply, durian continues to be the main product

Preliminary export turnover of fruits and vegetables in November reached 754.004 million USD, down 18.7% compared to October 2025 but up 64.9% over the same period in 2024.

In the first 11 months of 2025, fruit and vegetable exports reached more than 7.8 billion USD, an increase of 18% over the same period. Vietnam had a trade surplus of nearly 5.4 billion USD in fruit and vegetables.

Vietnam’s recent growth in fruit and vegetable exports has been driven mainly by fruit groups such as bananas, mangoes, jackfruit, coconuts, grapefruits, and especially durian. Durian has maintained its role as a key export item, making a major contribution to the overall performance.

Fruit and vegetable exports to many major markets still maintained double-digit growth, including China, the US, Japan and South Korea. In the Chinese market alone, export turnover in the first 10 months of 2025 reached more than 4.5 billion USD.

The Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association forecasts that with the current growth momentum, the whole year's fruit and vegetable export turnover will likely set a new record of more than 8 billion USD, an increase of about 1 billion USD compared to 2024.
