The specific purchase prices for popular durian varieties are recorded as follows:
| Types of durian | Classify | Price (VND/kg) |
|---|---|---|
| Thai durian | Type A | 88,000 – 105,000 |

| Durian RI6 | Type C | about 40,000 |
Situation in key growing areas
Data from Chogia.vn shows that durian prices in all three main regions, the Southwest, the Southeast and the Central Highlands, have not been adjusted. Items such as beautiful RI6, bucket RI6 or selected Thai durian all maintained the same trading price as the previous day.
Notably, the high-quality Thai durian in the Central Highlands is still the most expensive product in the country, fluctuating between 85,000 - 105,000 VND/kg.
Reasons for market stability
The stability of durian prices during this period is believed to be due to the balance between supply and demand. It is not yet the peak harvest season, but the good quality of the fruit has met the stable purchasing demand from the market. Many gardeners are in the process of caring for the new crop, preparing for the upcoming big harvest.
