On November 15, in Dak Lak province, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital in collaboration with Thien Hanh General Hospital organized a scientific workshop with the theme "Modern testing in optimal management of cardiovascular and infectious diseases".
The event aims to update professional knowledge, enhance diagnostic capacity and promote research and training cooperation between the two units in the coming time.
The workshop attracted nearly 250 doctors, pharmacists, nurses and medical staff from many hospitals and medical facilities in the Central Highlands region, with two forms of direct participation at the hall and online via the Zoom platform.
This is considered a practical academic forum, creating conditions for medical staff to access updated information on the application of testing techniques in clinical practice.

Speaking at the workshop, Associate Professor, Doctor, Doctor Le Minh Khoi, Head of Science and Training Department, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City, said that recently the two hospitals have signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement and quickly implemented many specific activities.
Dr. Le Minh Khoi emphasized that this workshop is the launch of a series of scientific research and training programs that the two units will jointly develop, while demonstrating a commitment to closely accompany each other in improving professional quality.

Master, Doctor Pham Phu Cuong, Deputy Director of Thien Hanh General Hospital, assessed that the workshop was an important activity, marking the extensive coordination between the two hospitals with the support of Roche Vietnam Limited Liability Company.
He said that the program not only continuously updates medical knowledge but also serves as a foundation for building a series of annual scientific seminars scheduled to be held every March, aiming to connect medical staff in the Central Highlands region and create a prestigious forum for professional exchange.
The conference program was organized into two working sessions throughout the day. The morning session focused on topics related to the application of testing in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases, with many updates on biomarkers and techniques to support treatment decisions.
The afternoon session focused on infectious diseases, emphasizing the role of modern testing in monitoring, early detection and optimizing treatment regimens. The discussions recorded many practical exchanges, opening up directions for research cooperation and professional development between units.

The workshop is considered an important milestone in the cooperation roadmap between Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital and Thien Hanh General Hospital, and at the same time contributes to promoting the application of advanced testing solutions locally.
With a sustainable development orientation, Thien Hanh General Hospital continues to prioritize investment in equipment, human resource training and expanding inter-hospital cooperation to meet the increasing health care needs of local people.
