On the international market, the price of gold closed the weekend session at 3,203 USD/ounce, down about 20 USD/ounce compared to the previous session. Early this morning, on the international market, the price of gold plummeted to only 3,155 USD/ounce, down about 70 USD compared to the highest level of the session.
