Saigon Jewelry Company SJC, DOJI Group listed the price of SJC gold bars at 116.8 million VND/tael for buying - 119.3 million VND/tael for selling, keeping the listed price for both buying and selling unchanged compared to yesterday's closing price.

Gold prices found technical support at $3,180/ounce and over the last four trading days, both the opening and closing prices have remained above this important technical support level.

Gold could be a good safe haven in the coming months if the US is downgraded, said Bob Haberkorn, senior market strategist at RJO Futures.
