Gold ring price increased by 200,000 VND after 30 minutes, new record of 88.3 million VND/tael

Just this morning (October 23), some gold and silver trading brands changed the price of gold rings twice.

Specifically, the buying and selling price of plain rings at DOJI Gold and Gemstone Group at 9:00 am was 87 - 88 million VND, an increase of 200,000 VND compared to yesterday evening.

Updated less than half an hour later, DOJI continued to increase the price of gold rings by 200,000 VND per tael, to 87.2 - 88.2 million VND.

Similarly, PNJ opened this morning listing the buying and selling price of gold at 86.8 - 87.8 million VND. But by 11am, the price had increased to 87 - 88.1 million VND/tael, respectively, an increase of 300,000 VND after a few hours.

At Phu Quy gold brand, this company sells 999.9 round rings for 88.3 million VND/tael, and buys them for 87.3 million VND, an increase of 500,000 VND compared to yesterday evening.

Meanwhile, SJC sells 99.99 gold rings at 88 million VND per tael and buys at 86.6 million VND.

While the price of gold rings increases hourly, even minutely, the price of SJC gold bars is relatively "quiet" compared to last night.

At Saigon Jewelry Company Limited - SJC, the price of SJC gold remains at 87 - 89 million VND/tael (buy and sell). The gap between buying and selling is 2 million VND per tael.

After a few days of trading, the price of gold rings has almost caught up with the price of SJC gold bars, the difference is currently only 700,000 VND per tael.

Domestic gold prices fluctuate hourly according to the "heat" of the world precious metals market.

This morning, the world gold price set a new record of 2,749 USD/ounce, up 29 USD compared to the same price yesterday.

International experts predict that gold could reach $2,800/ounce, as the US election approaches and global geopolitical instability continues.

The 2024 US presidential election is scheduled to take place on November 5. The two candidates, former US President Donald Trump of the Republican Party and Vice President Kamala Harris of the Democratic Party, are in a fierce race.

Meanwhile, the conflict in the Middle East shows no signs of cooling down and markets remain cautious about the possibility of Israel retaliating against Iran.
