This afternoon (November 27) is the time for periodic adjustment of gasoline and oil prices by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. In today's adjustment period, E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 519 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by 533 VND/liter.
Meanwhile, diesel 0.05S decreased by VND1,026/liter; kerosene decreased by VND815/liter. Finally, fuel oil 180CST 3.5S decreased by VND251/kg.
After adjustment, domestic gasoline and oil prices from 3:00 p.m. on November 27 are:
- E5RON92 gasoline: no higher than 19,288 VND/liter
- RON95-III gasoline: no higher than VND 20,009/liter
- Diesel 0.05S: not higher than 18,800 VND/liter
- Kerosene: not higher than 19,473 VND/liter
- Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S: not higher than 13,488 VND/kg
In today's adjustment period, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade continue not to set aside and spend the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all products.
Thus, domestic gasoline prices have decreased for two consecutive sessions after only one increase. Since the beginning of the year, RON 95 gasoline has increased 26 times, decreased 23 times. Diesel oil has increased 24 times, decreased 23 times and remained unchanged once.
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued Circular 50 regulating the roadmap for applying the blending ratio of biofuels with traditional fuels in Vietnam. From June 1, 2026, unleaded gasoline (according to current national technical regulations) must be blended and prepared into E10 gasoline (mixing 10% ethanol into unleaded gasoline) for use in gasoline engines nationwide.
At the same time, the blending and mixing of E5 RON 92 gasoline (mixing 5% ethanol into RON 92 gasoline) for use in gasoline engines will be implemented until the end of December 2030.
