World oil prices rebound
In the early morning of July 18, Brent crude oil prices increased to 68.97 USD/barrel, up 0.72%; WTI crude oil increased to 67.17 USD/barrel, up 1.19%. This development came from concerns about supply after drone attacks on oil fields in the autonomous Kurdistan region (Iraq), causing production to decrease by 150,000 barrels/day.

Experts say that although global trade tensions have temporarily eased, geopolitical factors and low inventories continue to play a key role in oil price trends.
The oil market remains volatile
According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), despite the increase in global oil production, inventories are not higher, indicating that the market is still tight. At the same time, new tax policies from the US and the Russia-Ukraine conflict continue to be factors that strongly affect the global energy market.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the average price of finished petroleum products in the world in the most recent adjustment period showed that gasoline and diesel both decreased slightly, while kerosene tended to increase. This is the basis for adjusting domestic gasoline prices.
In the context of global instability, gasoline prices in Vietnam are adjusted in line with international market developments. Consumers benefit from this gasoline price reduction, while businesses and managers still need to closely monitor risks from the global market.
