The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance have just decided to adjust gasoline prices. Accordingly, from 3:00 p.m. today, the price of RON 95-III gasoline increased by VND234/liter, to VND20,074/liter; the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by VND207/liter, to VND19,608/liter.
Meanwhile, oil prices decreased. Specifically, diesel oil decreased by 268 VND/liter, to 18,800 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 54 VND/liter, to 18,660 VND/liter. Fuel oil price increased by 114 VND/kg to 15,647 VND/kg. Thus, gasoline prices have increased for 2 consecutive sessions.
This time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance continues not to use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund. Since the beginning of the year, the price of RON 95 gasoline has increased 17 times and decreased 14 times. Meanwhile, the price of diesel has increased 15 times, decreased 15 times and remained unchanged once.
Domestic gasoline prices have increased again amid fluctuations in global oil prices. Early this afternoon, WTI crude oil prices were at $64.76 per barrel, up $0.41 per barrel from yesterday. Brent crude oil prices were at $67.26 per barrel, up $0.37 per barrel.
