Gasoline and diesel prices have both decreased, RON95-III has a new price of 20,542 VND

Specifically, the ceiling price of E5RON92 gasoline is 19,807 VND/liter, down 37 VND/liter; the new price of RON95-III gasoline is 20,542 VND/liter, down 34 VND/liter compared to the previous adjustment on November 13.

In line with the gasoline price trend, diesel oil decreased by 38 VND/liter, down to 19,826 VND/liter; fuel oil price decreased by 335 VND/liter, down to 13,739 VND/kg. Kerosene oil alone increased by 353 VND/liter, the new price is 20,288 VND/liter.

Since the beginning of the year, the price stabilization fund has remained unchanged with no deductions and no spending for petroleum products. A representative of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group ( Petrolimex ) said that the balance of the price stabilization fund (BOG) at the enterprise is 3,086 billion VND.

According to the representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade , in this management period, the plan to manage gasoline prices aims to ensure that domestic gasoline price fluctuations are consistent with world gasoline price fluctuations; continue to maintain the price difference between E5RON92 biofuel and RON95 mineral gasoline at a reasonable level to encourage the use of biofuels according to the Government's policy; ensure harmony of interests among market participants.

In the most recent adjustment on November 13, gasoline and oil prices increased simultaneously, specifically E5RON92 gasoline increased by 162 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline increased by 160 VND/liter; diesel oil price increased by 541 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 540 VND/liter, and mazut oil decreased by 246 VND/kg.

According to Decree No. 80/2023/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 95/2021/ND-CP dated November 1, 2021 and Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP dated September 3, 2014 of the Government on petroleum trading, the time for managing petroleum prices is implemented every Thursday./.
