In the Humanitarian Month of 2025, the District Veterans Association mobilized the construction of 3 humanitarian houses. Of which, the District Humanitarian Fund supported 2 houses (60 million VND/house) for 2 near-poor households in Binh Quy and Binh Tri communes; connected with donors in Da Nang City to mobilize the construction of 1 house under the program "Safety for poor and disadvantaged fishermen".

Mr. Vo Anh Trung - Chairman of the District Red Cross Society said that the Humanitarian Month 2025 is expected to be launched from May 1 to May 31, 2025 with a series of communication activities to mobilize the community to participate in the movement "Good people, good deeds - Joining hands to build a humane community" associated with the campaign "Each organization, each individual is associated with a humanitarian address"... In which, resources will be allocated to help 3 disadvantaged households build new and repair humanitarian houses. Currently, the Red Cross Society at all levels in the area is urging the construction progress as well as disbursing funds to support households to complete their houses during the Humanitarian Month.

In the period from (2017 - 2024), the District Red Cross Association and facilities in Thang Binh district mobilized to build and repair 93 humanitarian houses, of which 43 houses were newly built and 47 houses were repaired, with a support level of 50 - 60 million VND/newly built house, 20 - 25 million VND/repaired house and mobilized social resources for additional support. The total implementation cost was nearly 2 billion VND, contributing to helping disadvantaged families have solid housing and stabilize their lives.
