The Art Exchange Program to kick off the 31st Golden Apricot Awards - 2025, organized by the Lao Dong Newspaper, took place on the morning of September 24, affirming the progress and aspirations of the Golden Apricot Awards Organizing Committee in the new season.

The launching ceremony of the 31st Mai Vang Awards - 2025 also had the participation of artists: Meritorious Artist Bao Quoc, People's Artist Phuong Loan, Meritorious Artist Ngoc Khanh, musician Nguyen Van Sanh, MTV singing group, music producer DTAP, actress Diep Bao Ngoc, actress - singer Nhat Kim Anh.
Mr. Bui Thanh Liem, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 31st Mai Vang Award - 2025, said that after 30 seasons, the Mai Vang Award has affirmed its position as a prestigious cultural and artistic award, loved by the public and highly appreciated by experts. "Entering the 31st season, the Mai Vang Award continues to have many innovations from the organization, voting to art exchange activities. This year, the Organizing Committee will hold 4 thematic talk shows, inviting prestigious artists, award-winning faces and members of the Art Council to participate in sharing and dialogue. This is an opportunity for the public, artists and readers to become more connected, while contributing to orienting healthy, creative and humanistic artistic values" - Mr. Bui Thanh Liem informed.
Most of the artists participating in the 31st Mai Vang Award Art Exchange Program - 2025 affirmed: "The Mai Vang Award is the driving force for their own contributions to art". Each artist clearly remembers the moment they appeared on the Mai Vang Award stage to receive honor.
"The Mai Vang Award is a prestigious award for artists. Thanks to the Mai Vang Award, we have worked hard in the arts for a whole year to be nominated for the Mai Vang Award and if we receive the award, it will be many times more honorable. To me, the Mai Vang Award is not only an art award but also a bridge of affection between artists and the public" - Meritorious Artist Bao Quoc expressed.
More than gratitude
During the 31-year journey of the Mai Vang Award, the Organizing Committee has not only created a memorable art festival but also spread the humanitarian mission. This year also marks the 5th anniversary of the establishment and development of 2 programs: "Mai Vang Charity" and "Mai Vang Gratitude" organized by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper with the support of Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
Over the past 5 years, nearly 900 artists in 27 provinces and cities have received timely sharing and support from "Mai Vang Nhan Ai" and "Mai Vang Tri An". In January 2020, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Mai Vang Award, the "Mai Vang Nhan Ai" program became a bridge of affection, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual love between Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper and readers with artists. During difficult times, especially the COVID-19 pandemic, "Mai Vang Nhan Ai" has brought great encouragement to artists nationwide. Meaningful stories from the program have spread positive energy, humane spirit, honoring artists for the community, artists who have dedicated their lives to the community.
By June 2023, "Mai Vang Nhan Ai" continued the program "Mai Vang Tri An" and received sympathy from the public, readers and society when "Mai Vang Tri An" joined hands to care for and show gratitude to the team of intellectuals, doctors, engineers, veteran revolutionary activists, teachers... who have contributed to the country.
Mr. To Dinh Tuan, Editor-in-Chief of the Lao Dong Newspaper, Head of the Steering Committee of the 31st Golden Apricot Award - 2025, said that it has been more than 5 years since the journey from "Golden Apricot of Charity" to "Golden Apricot of Gratitude" - the Lao Dong Newspaper has directly reached artists and intellectuals. "There have been artists in difficulty who had to rent houses to live in, had no money for medical treatment, and there have been silent tears. This urges us to do it from the heart, to persevere to the end to support artists. There have been difficult economic times, but Nam A Bank has still devoted itself to the program" - Mr. To Dinh Tuan was moved.
Mr. To Dinh Tuan emphasized: "The entire amount of money that Nam A Bank has contributed through "Mai Vang Tri An" will be donated to those in need. We hope that artists and intellectuals will continue to accompany the cultural development of the city and the country."
The heart of singer - actress Nhat Kim Anh
The Mai Vang Award's humanitarian journey with the two programs "Mai Vang Charity" and "Mai Vang Tri An" really touched people's hearts. In the Art Exchange program to launch the 31st Mai Vang Award - 2025, the sharing of the Organizing Committee of the Mai Vang Award 2025 received the response of many guests. Right at the program, singer - actress Nhat Kim Anh contributed 50 million VND to the "Mai Vang Charity" program.
She shared: "I want to contribute a small part of myself to the fund as a way to accompany and share with the meaningful activities of the Mai Vang Award Organizing Committee. I myself always have a desire to contribute my small efforts to charity activities, taking care of veteran artists. Luckily today, I know about the charity activities of the Lao Dong Newspaper in general and the "Mai Vang Nhan Ai" program in particular. My contribution is not large, but I hope this is the best way to spread to get more contributions from my brothers, friends and colleagues, helping "Mai Vang Nhan Ai" to be able to support more veteran artists, intellectuals and other difficult cases.
