CMC's CIVAMS solution is in the top 12 in the world and top 1 in Vietnam.

The results were recorded according to the NIST report on Face Recognition Technology Evaluation (FRTE) 1:1 Verification. Surpassing 535 FaceID solutions in the world and developed by large units in Vietnam sent to NIST, the CIVAMS face recognition solution researched by CMC Technology Group entered the top 12 in the world.

CIVAMS solution is a product developed by CMC ATI Technology Application Research Institute.

Specifically, CIVAMS achieved Rank 12 (BORDER-KIOSK dataset, 12/547) and R ANK 16 (VISA-BORDER dataset, 16/547). This result far exceeds other technology companies in Vietnam in the same ranking. Notably, in Vietnam, CMC's facial recognition technology is ranked at the top of the list.

It is known that FRTE 1:1 Verification is a program to measure and evaluate the quality of global facial recognition technology, conducted by NIST. Every month, NIST conducts an assessment of the accuracy of automatic facial recognition methods from leading technology companies in the world . The assessment is carried out on the basis of measuring the performance, accuracy, speed, storage capacity and memory consumption of facial recognition methods, then compiled into reports.

In addition to the evaluation results by NIST, on November 9, 2023, CMC ATI's FaceID recognition model also reached the top 9 in the world and top 1 in Vietnam in the academic rankings within the framework of the Masked Face Recognition Challenge (MFR) ranking organized by IEEE International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV).
