This year's tournament witnessed a fierce competition between the Ho Chi Minh City team and the host team Ba Ria - Vung Tau . During the 2 days of competition, the athletes of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau team performed impressively in this tournament.
The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to contestants with high achievements in the following categories:
The host team especially shined in the Speed Slalom (Using speed and technique to overcome obstacles as quickly as possible) and Novice (For beginners), thereby winning 17 gold medals, surpassing the Ho Chi Minh City team with 16 gold medals. At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 44 sets of medals to athletes with high achievements.

The breakthrough of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, while other localities such as Bac Giang , Binh Phuoc, Tien Giang continue to maintain their forces with stable achievements, brings positive signals about the systematic, large-scale and quality investment for the Roller Sports training and competition movement nationwide.
Mr. Phung Nguyen Tuong Minh, Head of the Department of Sports Management (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province), Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament said: "Roller Sports, with its speed, dexterity and spirit of conquering limits, is spreading strongly to young people in Vietnam. At the regional arena, our athletes won 2 gold medals at the 2024 SEA Cup in the 500m speed and freestyle slide events, affirming their potential to reach the continental level".
The 2025 National Roller Sports Cup Championship brings together nearly 170 professional and semi-professional athletes who love speed sports from provinces and cities across the country including: Ho Chi Minh City, Tien Giang, Nghe An Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Bac Giang and Ba Ria - Vung Tau...
The tournament is an opportunity for athletes to compete and improve their professional skills.
Athletes compete in 26 Speed Roller Skating events, 14 Artistic Roller Skating events and 4 Skateboarding events. Each athlete can register for a maximum of 2 events for each competition category and can only register for 1 locality.
In order to improve the professional quality of the referee team, the Vietnam Skating and Roller Federation organized a National Referee Training Course right before the opening day of this tournament under the direction of two international experts, Ms. Connie Kwok Ka Yan and Mr. Liao Yen Sheng.
Roller Sports is a new sport that has developed in a short time and is of interest to young people. In the past 2 years, the Vietnam Skating and Roller Federation has built and organized a professional tournament system. In 2026, Roller Sports will be an official competition at the National Sports Festival. This National Cup Championship is the most important playground of the year for athletes to compete, demonstrate their talents, gain experience and is the basis for selecting the best faces for the national team, preparing for upcoming domestic and international competitions.
