Right in front of the entrance to the marking area, there are posted regulations requiring the marking staff to enter and exit. In the marking area, there are large banners stating that marking staff are not allowed to use mobile phones on the marking area.
Candidates took the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City last week. From June 12, the exam marking process officially began.
Each marking room has rules posted on the door. Accordingly, examiners are not allowed to bring into the marking room items such as handbags, backpacks, food, drinks, blue pens (including red pens of a different type than those issued by the marking committee), erasers, etc. Cell phones must be turned off and not used in the marking area. They can only be turned on when leaving the gate. In front of each marking room, there is a large tin box to store the examiners' belongings. This box is sealed from the beginning of the morning and is only opened at the end of the marking day.
The latest strict point of this round of marking in Ho Chi Minh City is that examiners are not allowed to take the marking instructions out to keep the marking answers confidential, and at the end of each marking session, they must return the marking instructions to the marking team. The general spirit of marking the 10th grade entrance exam is to ensure fairness, so the marking staff must work in a principled and thorough manner, and not show frustration with poor papers. There must be a spirit of solidarity and cooperation during the marking process. Any unusual signs (writing in two colors of ink, using an eraser, marking the paper...) in the paper must be reported to the marking team for handling.
