Meeting of the Emulation Cluster for Promoting Education of provinces and cities in the Northeast region

Attending the conference were comrades: Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education; Nong Quang Nhat, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Kan province; representatives of leaders of a number of departments and branches of Bac Kan province.

In the first months of 2025, the work of promoting learning, promoting talents, and building a learning society (KH KT XDXHHT) of the provinces and cities in the Cluster received the attention and leadership of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, Party committees and authorities at all levels, along with the coordination of agencies, departments, branches, unions and social organizations.

The Association for Promotion of Education in provinces and cities has done a good job of advising local Party committees and authorities to implement scientific and technological activities to build a learning society. The emulation movement for lifelong learning and building a learning society has been promoted. Scientific and technological activities to build a learning society have contributed positively to the education of localities.

The implementation of 5 learning models has received attention. Many typical learning models have been commended and replicated in provinces and cities. The Association for Promotion of Education of provinces in the emulation cluster has effectively linked and coordinated with social organizations, unions, individuals, businesses, and philanthropists in scientific and technological activities to build a socialist society.

Leaders of Thai Nguyen Province's Association for Promotion of Education awarded scholarships to 10 outstanding students who overcame difficulties and actively strived to improve their studies and training at Quang Khe Secondary and High School.

At the Conference, units exchanged good and creative ways of doing things; presented difficulties, problems and made recommendations and proposed solutions to contribute to the good implementation of the work of science and technology in building a socialist-oriented market economy.

In the coming time, the Provincial and Municipal Associations for Promotion of Education, Emulation Cluster No. 2, will focus on a number of key tasks such as: Perfecting the organization of the Association at the provincial and communal levels after rearranging administrative units under the direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels; evaluating 5 learning models according to Decisions 387 and 677 of the Prime Minister to promote the movement "The whole country competes to build a learning society, promote lifelong learning in the period 2023-2030"; continuing to implement new tasks on "Lifelong learning", "Green learning promotion", "Digital education for the masses"... to the grassroots Association for Promotion of Education and all members; developing the education promotion fund in a diversified direction, organizing well and promoting the effectiveness of scholarship sources and rewards for both students and adults in the community.

Within the framework of the Cluster Meeting Program, the delegates visited teachers and students of Quang Khe Secondary and High School, awarded scholarships to support the exam season and some scholarships to outstanding students who overcame difficulties and actively strived in their studies and training at Quang Khe Secondary and High School, Ba Be District, Bac Kan Province.
