Quang Nam Provincial Buddhist Sangha commemorates General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

Attending the memorial ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Mau - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Provincial Religious Committee, and Provincial Police.

On behalf of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, there was Most Venerable Thich Phuoc Minh - Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, along with Most Venerable Monks, Venerable Monks, Nuns and Buddhist followers.

At the memorial ceremony, religious dignitaries and representatives of agencies and departments of Quang Nam province offered incense and commemorated General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, an outstanding leader and great intellectual who devoted his entire life to serving the Fatherland and the people.

Religious dignitaries and representatives of agencies and sectors prayed for world peace , continued promotion of the legacy left by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, and steadfastly moved forward to build a strong and prosperous Vietnam.

Previously, the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha issued an official dispatch guiding the organization of the memorial ceremony for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The document requests that religious organizations with rituals appropriate to their religion organize memorial ceremonies at the same time as the Visitation and Memorial Services for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong according to the regulations of the Funeral Organizing Committee.
