Dak Phoi commune has 11 ethnic groups living together, creating a colorful, unique and attractive cultural picture.
Coming to Dak Phoi, visitors can admire and experience the unique cultural features of the ethnic groups. For example, the M'nong Gar people still maintain traditional rituals such as: new rice worship, longevity celebration, water wharf worship, brotherhood... In addition, the Thai, Nung, Tay communities migrating from the northern provinces also contribute to the richness of culture, expressed through vibrant communal dances, or the deep sound of the flute.

In particular, in Dak Phoi, cultural preservation has gone into depth through community activities. Many art troupes have been formed and maintained regularly, typically the gong troupe of the M'nong people (Tlong village, Jie Juk village) and the bamboo dance troupe of the Tay people. In the villages, artisans are still diligently preserving their traditional skills, from skilled gong players to talented flute players.
In the villages, the traditional weaving craft is still preserved by the people. This is a potential for tourists to experience reality, learn manual techniques and bring back meaningful souvenirs.
Dak Phoi also has great potential for agriculture to combine with agricultural tourism. With a total natural area of 26,715 hectares, the agricultural and forestry land group has an absolute advantage with more than 24,422 hectares, of which more than 7,211 hectares of perennial crop land and 2,822 hectares of annual crop land, along with more than 14,314 hectares of forestry land. In particular, the large coffee garden area is the ideal condition for agricultural tourism to become a potential and focal direction of the locality.
Realizing the great potential in combining agricultural production and tourism , after more than 5 years of establishment and business in the field of high-quality coffee, Thanh Cong Cooperative (Cao Bang village) decided to exploit this field. Thanh Cong Cooperative has actively participated in training courses on agriculture and tourism organized by the locality and travel agencies; at the same time, received many groups of visitors. Especially, during the harvest season, tours have led visitors to experience the coffee production process.

The feeling of "returning to the fields" and witnessing the process of creating fragrant coffee beans is an extremely unique experience. Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga ( Da Nang City) confided: "As a coffee "addict", I enjoy this drink almost every day. Last year, our group went to Dak Lak, after visiting Lak Lake, we experienced the coffee garden in Dak Phoi. Being able to pick coffee beans with my own hands and see the drying process on the racks, I felt very excited".
Mr. Hoang Thanh Be, Vice Chairman of Dak Phoi Commune People's Committee, said that in recent years, Dak Phoi Commune has organized many activities to promote tourism associated with agricultural development, thereby improving people's lives. For example, in 2024, the commune coordinated with the Provincial Forestry Science and Technology Association and Lak Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. and related units to organize a practical training program on community learning tourism for people. The locality also implemented many solutions to preserve and promote relics, scenic spots, festival culture and restore traditional crafts... to realize the goal of building Dak Phoi Commune into a sustainable cultural - ecological - environmental tourism destination.
