The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize activities for Hanoi's participation in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in 2024-2025. Among these activities, the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2024 will take place from November 9-17, 2024, with the theme "Creative Crossroads".
This is the first time that the capital's "Creative Crossroads" will be piloted along seven of Hanoi's most iconic historical heritage sites, featuring hundreds of vibrant creative activities in the fields of architecture, design, fine arts, performance, film, advertising, and more.

The main venue for the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2024 is the August Revolution Square, connecting the North-South axis (Ly Thai To Street - Le Thanh Tong Street) and the East-West axis (Bac Co Slope - Trang Tien Street).
This area features prominent architectural landmarks such as the Hanoi Children's Palace, the Government Guest House (Northern Vietnam Government House), the Hanoi Opera House, the National Historical Museum, and gardens including Ly Thai To, Co Tan, and Dien Hong.
The festival's experiential route will bring prominent architectural works associated with Hanoi's history closer to the lives of the people. Some buildings will open to visitors for the first time, such as the Government Guest House, and several tours will be launched, including visits to the Hanoi Opera House and the University of Hanoi…
The "Creative Crossroads" not only piloted a future creative economy experience route for the city, but more importantly, it showcased the city's creative potential, contributing to the synergy, connection, and attraction of creative resources; and awakened the creative spirit of generations of Hanoi residents.

The organized creative activities will be a dialogue between existing structures, connecting community memory with new creative ideas to emphasize the role of young people in continuing and promoting national values in the development of the creative industry, promoting the development of the Capital city, and befitting its status as the creative center of the country.
Organized to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the capital, the 2024 Creative Design Festival is deeply imbued with Hanoi's memories, awakening and evoking historical recollections and the creative power of generations of Hanoi residents.
The festival includes nearly 100 creative activities, with highlights including iconic structures, creative space model installations, exhibitions, art performances, experiential activities, and international and domestic seminars and workshops in the field of creativity…
At the same time, the spirit of creativity is also spreading throughout cultural heritage spaces, creative areas, and traditional craft villages on the streets and in the districts, towns, and cities of the capital.
